A newly renovated restaurant sitting in downtown Brooklyn on Fulton Street reads “GAGE & TOLLNER” on the front revolving doors. A name that has a long history in the restaurant business in New York. This landmark opened its doors in 1879 and in the same downtown location from 1892 until it closed in 2004. Gage & Tollner has re-opened its doors. This Oyster & Chop house restaurant features dishes like East Coast oysters, Maine lobster, roasted chicken breast, T-bone sirloin steak and more. The drinks menu offers cocktails inspired by the 1940s, such as an Old Fashioned, a Sloe Gin Fizz, and a Rusty Nail.
